All the cards are 3 1/2 x 5" fold-over cards in Ivory on classic crest paper with real cupcake baking cups. Colored pencil drawings and 32 lb matte paper in Firecracker Red and Lemon Drop Yellow with Victorian edges.

All in all, it was a successful photoshoot...

Many thanks to Cupcake Project for providing the delicious inspiration for the name "Hibiscus Frosting."

The darling mini-cupcakes that served as props (and my dessert for the week) are from The Corner Bakery in New York City.

One more halloween card

Jack-o'-lantern!

3 1/2 x 5" fold-over card in Ivory on classic crest paper. 32 lb metallic finish paper in copper and 24 lb paper in orbit orange. Brown paper bag stem. Blank inside.

Fun fact: The world's largest jack-o'-lantern was carved from the world's then-largest pumpkin on Halloween 2005 in Pennsylvania. It weighed 1,469 lbs!!!

Crafting and the city

The birthplace of my first card! A beautiful fall day in the Flatiron district, just a short walk from Paper Presentation, my favorite store for cardstock and envelopes. They have so many options, it's heavenly! New York City really is quite an inspiring place, creatively speaking.
